Acceptance and the art of letting go

Letting go can be tough.Whether it is a certain opportunity, a person you love, a friend you admire, or a dream you desire, all are hard pills to swallow. We have all being there and we know the feeling.

So, in order to release all that is no longer serving you, let’s talk about acceptance.

Acceptance

The first step in the art of letting go is accepting that what no longer serves your highest good has no place in your life.

This step can be the hardest, because life makes us attached to people and things, that’s just part of human nature.

Take some time to yourself, feel the emotions come up without judging them, give yourself time to heal, search deeply within your sou,l and let your intuition guide you through the path.

A few things you can do during this time is developing a meditation routine or practicing ishwara pranidhana_surrender to they divine_(you can read more abut this in my blog about the yama and niyama)

Letting go

Release built up emotions, no matter what they are.

This can be done by crying, writing your heart out, exercising, dancing, talking to a friend or reading. Remind yourself that you are much more powerful than your mind wants you to believe, and let go of what that is keeping you feeling stuck.

Looking ahead

In the spirit of the new year, looking ahead has become a trend we can all relate to.

Now that you learned how to let go negativity, mindfully looking ahead to the endless possibilities of your life is something to look forward to.

Having dreams and goals is a propeller to help us manifest our desires, letting them consume our every thought and living in the future is what we should NOT do. Looking ahead after letting go of buildup emotions, things, or people is the greatest feeling of relief, happiness, and so much joy, have you tired it?
